Question I'm a newbee need help with spam


I'm new to linux. I had someone else build me a slackware mail box. Now I need to turn on spam control and learn linux. I have the gui loaded just don't know what to do.
I loaded my own box but need cd to boot.
Pervious windows user trying to get away from microsoft
