hylafax ubuntu
 

hello guys,

i am trying to install hylafax on Ubuntu server . the detail specs of it are

Linux version 2.6.15-27-server (buildd@terranova) (gcc version 4.0.3 (Ubuntu 4.0.3-1ubuntu5)) #1 SMP Sat Sep 16 02:57:21 UTC 2006


i am trying to install it but it is giving serveral issues like dependencies and font problmes . If anyone has successfully done the hylafax installation on Ubuntu please send some help .

anyway i found something please check it if someone is installting hylafax on ubuntu

make a backup of your /etc/apt/sources.list, and place this in the file:Code:

deb http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu breezy main restricted universe
# deb-src http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu breezy main restricted universe

deb http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu breezy-updates main restricted universe
# deb-src http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu breezy-updates main restricted universe

deb http://security.ubuntu.com/ubuntu breezy-security main restricted universe
# deb-src http://security.ubuntu.com/ubuntu breezy-security main restricted universe



and typing in, as root:Code:
apt-get update
apt-get dist-upgrade
apt-get install hylafax-client hylafax-server hylafax-doc
