Hylafax Email to Fax using faxmail or anything that works

Thanks in advance for any replies. I have recently set up a Hylafax server on CENTOS 6. Currently we are able to print faxes to the Hylafax printer for almost any type of document and incoming faxes are routed beautifully and reliably. The one thing I can't seem to find good documentation for is how to properly set up the ability to email-to-fax. I would like to give my users the option to send an email to or through the fax server and have it treat the header and body of the email as the cover page and the attachment(s) stripped off, translated to ps or pdf and sent as the fax. I don't care if it is the "9999999999@fax", "faxmaster@9999999999.fax" or whatever it has to be but I need it to work. I've tried every somewhat comprehensive document I can find and none of them work. I've tried the docs at hylafax.org and sourceforge to no avail. I'm trying to do it with sendmail. I'm trying to keep from having to use postfix and write my own procmail recipes to do so. If anyone has done this before, I could sure use some direction. It seems like it shouldn't be this difficult.

Thanks again,
Austin

BTW - I stumbled onto the mailfax.sh-sendmail/postfix/etc... this weekend that come with the hylafax tar.gz to no avail. I follow the instructions and.......THEY DON"T WORK! Big surprise. The closest I got so far is running faxmail from CLI and pasting the contents I want faxed, then pressing CTRL+d. Not that it is helpful in anyway in getting this resolved.

I will recommend to try ICTFAX http://www.ictfax.org on CentOS that is a Fax over IP solution supporting T.38 and G.711 pass through

the quickest way would probobly be to setup a cron job for a shell script that checks your mail and then uses the attatchment for the fax job.

you would have to perform some grep cut & sed trickery to get the fax number from the email.

hylafax is AWESOME but things like this can be real "fun" to setup
