How to work in cooliris off-line in ubuntu

I am using firefox as my web browser.I installed a addone named cooliris to my firefox. It gives amazing visual effects when i am on-line.I can visualize pictures of my heard disk when i am on-line with that visual effect but I couldn't get it when i am off line.
But i can get that even i am off line, when i log to firefox through windows vista.I log to firefox through vista and go to file ,tick work offline. Then it work.
Though Firefox is an open sours web browser it support in vista but not in ubuntu!
Is there any open sours software that can give cooliris like visual effects.
