How to slow down

Hello every body!

I'm using a fedora based server, and the server I'm using is too faster.
How can I slow down my machine?
The application that I wanna use is already compiled.

Have a you a solution without downclocking the system.

Thanx
have a nice day

A little more information would be helpful...

Why do you want it to slow-down?
What makes being fast a problem?
Do you have the source?

Hello,

I want to slowdown my server, because it 's too faster for the application I want to use.
I haven't source.
It 's a special server application. And the application is already compilated. The server runs too fast vs the application and don't work fine.
I 've tested the same application with the same distribution (Fedora core 6) on a server wich is slower, and the application work fine. And it 's the same configuration.

Ted
