how to set NFS server?


is it correct?


[root@SANJAY-CMS etc]# cat exports
/RPMs 192.168.0.0/255.255.255.0(ro)
[root@SANJAY-CMS etc]# service nfs status
rpc.mountd (pid 8888) is running...
nfsd (pid 8885 8884 8883 8882 8879 8878 8877 8876) is running...
rpc.rquotad (pid 8872) is running...

Check on the client with
Code:
rpcinfo -p <nfs-server>
.
If you can see output related to NFS services, you are good else you should check.

Unless you have nfsv4 running, you'll also need portmap running.
