How to set a MX record ?

Hello,
I read you articles about MX record on the Internet. I’m now trying to install a testing mail server on Linux. But I can only send but not receive e-mails. Is this about MX record ? How can I fix it ? Thanks.

mx record is dns server data, not belong to mailserver. However this is important for those internet user's email to reach your server.

So, they is no way to fix mx record in your server, you must find out who host your domain name(probably your isp?).
