Lightbulb how to restart network services in Ubuntu


hi,
i generally work in RHEL, but at this point of time i want help for Ubuntu.
i generally use the command :
#service network restart
to stop my network services and restart them if i have any problem in network connectivity in RHEL.
Is there some equivalent command in Ubuntu???
Please Help......

Hello,

Within ubuntu, you would use the following to start, stop, and restart the network service:
Code:
sudo /etc/init.d/networking start
sudo /etc/init.d/networking stop
sudo /etc/init.d/networking restart
