Do you use Red Hat Enterprise Linux? If so, you must pay for technical support. When you buy a subscription, you get registration in Red Hat Network with all the consequent stuff.

Or you may just install yum from installation media.

If you have already payed for subscription, you can do registration at http://www.redhat.com/register/ or look for the "registration to red hat network" in Application --> System Tools.

If you had subscribed and downloaded the iso's you must get a installation number.
You can issue this command:
# rhn_register

And once entered you will be registered for package updates.
