Thumbs up How to limit access and downloads (BitTorrent) through Squid?


Hi I am Working as Lab Technician in an Engineering College. We provide Internet through SQUID for LABS and (Without SQUID control)Direct IP to Admin Offices. Some of the People known the Direct IPs given to their systems and they
mis-use the Inernet like torrents,etc... We facing "internet slow" Problem.
Please give the Solution Detaily to solve the problem.

you can block the download by giving a download limit in squid for all users
or block the torrent extension

you can also put quota on users to limit download
