How to install an HP DL380 G3 packaged cluster with MSA500

Hi guys,

I found an HP DL380 packaged cluster with a MSA500 storage array (err, technically I bought it for a really low price). I installed Debian 6.0 stable on it and now I'm a bit stuck. I don't know how to cluster both DL380 servers and how to find the MSA500.

This is the setup:
DL380 -> 2 x 146GB 15K hp HD
DL380 -> 2 x 146GB 15K hp HD
MSA500 -> 14 x 146GB 15k hp HD

2 (cold) spares.

I can only see 2 drives and one volume on the DL380 servers. I don't know where to look for the MSA500 and how to look for it? Can anybody give me a hint?

Thanks

Oh boy, seems a habit for me. I search and search, don't find. Post things finally on LQ.org and then find out that the VHDCI cable wasn't connected. I installed the cciss_vol_status with

Code:

apt-get install cciss_vol_status
Connected the node to the storage array and all works well at first sight at this moment the hd's are being initialized in the volume and I can see the volume now as a new device in /dev/cciss/...

Well, that's already one step. Now find out how the 2 nodes are clustered ... . No idea.
