[SOLVED] How to install a .cet CA in a ubuntu web server

Hi everybody,

We're deploying a ubuntu web server in our company but our CA is from a Windows Server.
The problem is that we cannot find the way to install the CA in our new web server.
We try some ideas but didn't work

Anyboy have a idea?

Hi,

well, first you will need the .cer and .key files to make it work (if you have them on Windows server, then copy them)
then you can follow some Apache SSL configurations:
- SSL certificate installation
- SSL/TLS strong encryption

- self-signed SSL certificates
- SSL on apache
- Client Certificate Authentication With Apache (An Example)

It's a tough one, but once done you will be happy.

I know I didn't write you exactly the steps, but this experience you learned yourself is more valuable than just some copy/paste solution.
