I assume you intend to set these drives up in a nested
RAID 0+1 array. You'll probably want to set up the two new drives in RAID 0 and copy the existing data onto that array. Then you'd set up the old drives in RAID 0 and duplicate the data on the new drives onto the old drives (so each RAID 0 array is identical). Finally, I guess you'd set up a RAID 1 array and add the RAID 0 arrays to it.
Unfortunately, I don't know as much about RAID setups and mdadm as I'd like to, so I can't give you anything more specific than that and I may be wrong somewhere. But hopefully that might point you in the right direction.
