How to include username in warnquota
I use warnquota on RHEL 5.9 to inform users when they exceed their diskspace. It's cron as root cronjob "0 6 * * 1-5 /usr/sbin/warnquota".
Users reply to the email to our ticket system (Request Tracker) and we either increase their quota or tell them to clean up their files.
The problem is that the username is not included in the quota message (which is attached most times) and users tend to not include it by themselves.
We now have to inconveniently search our ldap database for the username. Unfortunately it's not possible to copy the email address as we have cryptic usernames and human readable email addresses.
The man page did not tell if and how usernames could be included but I read "somewhere in the Internet" than inserting %i or maybe %u inside the MESSAGE section of the /etc/warnquota. conf would do the job. For me it didn't work. I tried %i %u '%i' and '%u'.
Any ideas how I can include the username in the warnquota message?
