how to get root email sent to root and me

I am trying to get the root email from a server forwarded to my main email address. I thought I would just add a line to /etc/aliases. But I would also like it to continue to go root address. So when I log into the machine and switch to the root user and check the mail, the messages are there as well.

How to do I get one address to go to 2 places?

Thanks for any suggestions.

Hi,

You didn't say what is your malserver, but at least for the sendmail aliases file, you can use:
Code:
root: \root, me@domain.com
