Exclamation How To Extract the entire system configuration?

Hey,

In AIX there is a command/tool which is called snap which allow a sysadmin to collect the entire system config(LVM,TCPIP,User&Groups,Kernel,...etc)!

snap is easy to be run ,simply type snap -a and press enter.

The question is "Is there is something similar in Linux?"

I want a similar tool to quickly get the config og my customer machines to effectively and quickly get the system config.

Thanks in advance

May depend on the exact distro, but RHEL (& derivatives) should support sosreport http://linux.die.net/man/1/sosreport, https://access.redhat.com/knowledge/solutions/3592.
I think that's what you want, although there are many tools to report on specific areas.
For a generic soln, you may need to use a few of those & combine the results.
