How to Delete the sendmail mailq


Hello,

I have alot of mail in the defered q which i don't want them to hit the mail server. How do I delete the deffered mailq? we are using redhat and sendmail

Look in /var/spool/mqueue for the mail. Normally there will be files with df* and qf* as a prefix for each mail waiting to be sent, you can delete the ones you don't want sent.
