How to create an FTP user with permission to access only one specific directory


i need to create an FTP user who can access only one specific directory.

Ok, so what is the problem you're having?

You give us no details AT ALL (version/distro of Linux? FTP server? How the user(s) are going to log in?), so we can't help you. Short answer: create a directory owned by that user, with permissions for no one else.
