Post How to configure Postfix mail queue monitoring in zabbix?

Kindly follow the 2 step process to configure Postfix mail queue monitoring in Zabbix:

1. Create a line like- User Parameter=postfix.queue, post queue -p|...
in the zabbix_agentd.conf
2. Then create an item postfix.queue in your Zabbix server gui and a trigger that fires if the value is > 100.

In My Experience with Zabbix, monitored clients don't email.
My Zabbix server does all the mailing and it is not configured in a zabbix_agentd.conf

Need your help doing this

Hi,
am new at zabbix 5.4 and following another Howto I edited my zabbix-agentd.conf on my postfix like that I added these lines:

# Mailqueue
UserParameter=postfix.queue,mailq | grep -v "Mail queue is empty" | grep -c '^[0-9A-Z]'

EnableRemoteCommands=1
UserParameter=postfix.deferred[*],/usr/sbin/postqueue -p | egrep -c "^[0-9A-F]{10}[^*]"
UserParameter=postfix.active[*],/usr/sbin/postqueue -p | egrep -c "^[0-9A-F]{10}[*]"
UserParameter=postfix.sent[*],logtail -f /var/log/mail.log -o /var/local/zabbix/sent.logtail | grep -c "postfix/smtp.*status=>
UserParameter=postfix.bounce[*],logtail -f /var/log/mail.log -o /var/local/zabbix/bounce.logtail | grep -c "postfix/smtp.*sta>

so far so good now I'd like to configure the zabbix item and a trigger as you described. that fires if there are more than 100 mails in the queue.
Respectiveley that fires a warning at at < 50 and an alerm at <100.

How do I have to write the key for that item and the trigger?
I couldn't find an advice how to realize that.

Many thanks in advance

Uli
