How to chnage ulimit value

Hi Everyone,

After long time, I am here.....

I have checked file-max and ulimit value are displaying different.

I need to chnage ulimit value for the user. I have entered ulimit -n 2048 in his .bash_profile.
but still when ruuning command ulimit -n in his shell value is coming 1024. I want to make this entry permanent.

Please help me, how can do it.

Thanks,
Deepak Kumar
