How to change the pass on VSFTPD???


Hi all!!!
I'm using FC6 with VSFTPD is FTP Server. but I don't know how to change the password for user after account had been created. ( I'd like to change password by user after create ). can anybody tell me?? thanks alot!!!

it's just a normal user account... use the passwd command.

you don't understand me. do you? my mean is:I'd like to change password by user after create that user may be using Windows OS or Linux... how to change pass???? not sample as you say!!!!

i don't understand the text yo've highlighted there... can you rephrase it? what does changing a "password by user" mean?

If it is a normal user, you just have to dio the folllowing:
instead of USER, type the name of the user you want to change the passwod ."TEXT"<-- these are the echos from passwd.

Code:
passwd USER
"enter new UNIX password:"type your password, you wish to give.
"retype new password :"retype it
"passwort changed successfull"
well, this is all, what to do
