i m using centos, i want to block the bit torrent and bit commet like softwares using Squid. please help me

A quick Google search turns up several options. Two with the most promise are:

http://www.opendpi.org/
http://l7-filter.sourceforge.net/

Torrents can run over any port. You need a 7-layer filter, either hardware or software based, to do it. These are your two best linux options for such.
