How to bind a process to memory so that it will never be pushed to swap?

probalby there is no way, you may try to increase priority and do not overload system.

There actually is several ways to do that, but I forgot it.

In the long distant past there was the "sticky" bit in the permissions field, but that was in the days before dynamic linking and demand paging. The sticky bit now has other uses, unrelated to locking a process in memory.
