How to add sender address in fail2ban


Hi ,

I have configure fail2ban in many servers. and enabled mail notification.I don't know which mails comes from which server.

I googled but i dint get solution.

Please give me suggestions to add the hostname (sender address) in fail2ban.

I have tried these two links and configured, but there is no effect.

Can you please give me some suggestions?

..and since you again don't tell us what version/distro of Linux, what message(s) you got, what the logs said, what changes you made, or what link/instructions you followed...what do you think we'll be able to tell you??

The two links tentenths gave you are very plain, and work just fine. What problems did you have? What did you do? Did you restart the service after making the change?
