How can I display a logout message?

Hello,

Is there a way to display a logout-message in a CLI?
I can display a login-message, like "Welcome to this and that" from the .profile or .bashrc

But can I do the same when someone logs off?
If so, where do I put it?

Thanks,

Gerben12

Assuming you're using bash, make a file called .bash_logout, and add something like this, for example:
Code:
echo "You're leaving - how dare you? Oh well, you've lef"
