Cool How can i add a diskless client

hai,

I have a system in my office without a hard disk and i want to make it useful. I have a plan to learn now, that how can i make a disk less client for my Linux server.

Can you all give your suggestions what i have to do
1) on Server side settings?
2) on Client side settings?
3) Is there any fine documents which guide me step by step to set a diskless node and the corresponding server settings?

Thanks in Advance

Also, Thinstation:

thinstation.sf.net

I successfully ran Thinstation for a couple of years, but I needed the documentation and admin tools from LTSP to help get it running successfully.

cheers,

Do you know what distribution of Linux is running on the server?

I've used Debian to create diskless workstations, but the way I did things was more of a manual affair. I wanted to create "thick client" workstations, which is different from what most people do. As a side effect, the "thick client" workstations could also run in a "thin client" mode simply by using gdm's remote XDMCP login option.
