High CPU

Hi,
I have a java process using high CPU on RH AS 4.0. Is there a way to find out which thread causes the problem? Any commands or tool? I know I can use prstat and prstack on Solaris for such problem, but what about linux? Any help is much appreciated.

Issue "top" -- hope that's what you're after. And if you need more specific usage help with top, issue "man top" for it's manual page.

Hi Ariana,

Can I know if there's any arguments prameter for the java? What application are you running? I use tomcat, resin and websphere here. There's minimum and maximum startup memory settings for my java application.
