Help with Httpd default folder.

Hi guys,
i have installed Direct Admin on My Server....
i am using CentOS and my Web is running though Httpd....

Da is using users to make it a web server ...each user has it own access to his own domains and files...

and my problem is...

i make a new user and entering a domain There(another domain that the main one)....
and it redirects me to The Default Httpd Folder that is /etc/var/www/...

and i need it to use My Direct Admin users folder....

i had trying lots of combinations in /etc/httpd/conf Editing httpd.conf

and no sence.... i am always redirected to this cursed folder....

here's an example:
Admin User -
Regullar User(it has absolutely different files inside the domain folder) -

and it leads to the same folder and not showing The Domain's folder content...

Will be happy if some1 will help.... thanks.

do not knoiw what direct admin is or does..

but you should have some virtual host directives in http.conf that will say where the doc root is for each site.

Also, if they are name based, and not set correctly, apache will usually default to one for any errored set ups.

Changing httpd.conf also requires restarting apache "service httpd restart" and then see changes.

Also, DNS is very important

IT sounds to me like you are just not setting up apache correctly with virtual hosts.

And it will depend on whether they are ip based sites, or name based on how you would do some of it...but those directives will decide where to put the surfer....

Wish I could be of more help, but I do not have all the details there with you. However, if you are going to a web page, then DNS is probably ok and apache and all that is are just missing the correct settings for virtualhosting, thats all.
