Help regarding VSFTP Server

Guys,

I have read a lot of threads, thanks for always helping us and providing us the best solution.

I need some help regarding vsftp server
  1. I want to give user rights to create folder and upload file, but after creating folder and uploading files he should not be able to delete any file or folder.
  2. I want to give another user only download rights, no modification rights.
  3. I want user to execute script from ftp so that files he uploaded should be moved to their perticular folders.

Looking for the earliest reply.

Thanks

If I understand your question correctly, you want some FTP users to have their own settings.

Open /etc/vsftpd/vsftpd.conf and place|insert|remove the # from user_config_dir=/etc/vsftpd/vsftpd_user_conf/
Create the directory /etc/vsftpd_user_conf/ and create in it a config file for each user who should have settings different from the main vsftpd.conf file.

/etc/vsftpd_user_conf/joe
/etc/vsftpd_user_conf/jan
/etc/vsftpd_user_conf/...
