Hi,
I got toered from the unstable openSuse which caused me lots of troubles and time waste...

Can anyone recommend a stable distribution ... i need it to be supported/run by oracle?

You have not specifically mentioned it in this post but I guess you want server system as you have posted in the Linux-Server forum. Debian, RedHat and Slackware (in alphabetical order :)Did not get it, is it that you want support from Oracle to your server distro or you want your distro to run oracle applications? Somebody more knowledgeable will help you.
