Help ASAP Installing RedHat 5.3 Enterprise


I need help installing Redhat Enterprise Linux Server. I have a RAID drive and there are no drivers for it. I absolutely don't know anything, and this got thrust on me, I tried putting drivers onto a USB an plugging it in but it wont detect the drivers! I want to go home.....

At a bare minimum we're going to need to know thw HW of the system and the RAID drive as well, before we can begin to help.

That having been said, I'd ask RH for help if this is a supported system. It should be, else you should be using Centos.

Intel Core i7-980x processor extreme edition, where can I check the HD?

Update: Ok I got it to install but it won't loadup..... omg. I removed any USB drive from it and removed the DVD from the drive too. It just goes to a black screen and just sits there.

have you contacted red hat support
THAT IS ONE OF THE REASONS YOU BOUGHT THE LICENSE
the other is to update it to 5.5

Red Hat is not free !
