Hdd serial no


hi all,

How to find out server's HDD Serial no tried below command but didnt work,

#hdparm -I /dev/sda

so please help & Thanks in Advance.

If you have the smart tools installed

Might get more help, if you said WHAT "didn't work", how it failed, version/distro of Linux, and what kind of hardware you're running this on. Just saying "it didn't worK", gives us nothing to go on.
