Having trouble enabling root ssh access
 

Hi,

i`m kind of a newbie in linux, but i reinstalled from scratch my debian server with version 9 and i enabled the root ssh access in sshd_config, but i still get access denied when i try to connect.

try to ssh with -v and also check logs (of sshd)

In addition, when you changed the sshd_config file did you restart the ssh server?
