has anyone configured a load balancer in apache2 using mod-jk on ubuntu 12.04?

Hello Good people,

I have a fresh ubuntu 12.04 , got 2 instances of tomcat6 installed using tomcat-users package with the tomcat6-instance-create command.I installed openjdk-7-jre and apache2 with libapache2-mod-jk. so i got this files
  • /etc/apache2/mods-available/jk.conf
  • /etc/apache2/mods-available/jk.load
  • /etc/libapache2-mod-jk/workers.properties

i used my own workers.properties which i put under /etc/apache2 and configured in /etc/apache2/mods-available/jk.conf so. i also set up a virtualhost in /etc/apache2/sites-available/someurl.com which i enabled with the a2ensite someurl.com

I got the load balancer working but i can't see the status page. for some reason it showing 404 Page not found.

as am speaking where is where i stand as configuration: http://pastie.org/7814510

can anyone give a hand? thanks
