Global management software for servers on Debian & Ubuntu ?

Hello,

I have many servers to maintain.
I do everything by hand (shell), but I want find a software that would manage my servers: monitoring, updating, ...
my servers are on Debian and Ubuntu.
What software (free or paid) do you recommend ? (on Debian, Ubuntu or Windows)

Thank you for your help.

For monitoring you can use something like Nagios or Zabbix.

I'm not sure about about software to manage updates. Red Hat/CentOS has Spacewalk, but I'm not sure about Debian/Ubuntu.

For configuration management you might want to look at Puppet or Chef.

ansible is quite good for managing large volumes of machines.

Yes, try Nagios Log Server. It is a powerful enterprise-class log monitoring and management application that allows organizations to quickly and easily view, sort, and configure logs from any source on any given network. Log Server is designed to analyze, collect, and store log data based on custom specifications, and provide users with extended insight into the data on their network's infrastructure.
