Question Getting problems while installing bind-9.3 in RHEL5


Dear friends

i am trying to install bind-9.2 package in rhel 5


it is installing ok but it is not creating the file named.conf in
/etc/ and /var/named/chroot/etc/named.conf also

i have tried lot of times but is not been done

then i install cache-nameserver package it creates the named.cahce&&& file in /etc/ directory

could some one tell what is the problem

Check with the bind rpm and the list of file it has placed in the server. If it has not created named.conf, you need to create it
