ftpd server

what changes should i make in my ftpd server code(program) so that my anonymous ftpd server will ask for password for every user.
i running ftpd server on my hardware and trying to login on server machine through my local machine .i am able to login but server did not ask for any password for any user.There is no config file on server system for ftpd.

If i make a config file for ftpd server,what should be our entry in this file ???

provide me solution..

it depends on what ftp server you are running

you might want to hire a developer to make those changes

Which distribution and which ftp server are you using?
And please spell out your words.

Which ftp server are you running? VSFTP for example uses anonymous_enable=NO in vsftpd.conf
