ftp server configuration parameter


in /etc/vsftpd/vsftpd.conf

there is a configuration parameter like ftp_username

what does it means??

Hi,

Quoting from vsftpd.conf:

This is the name of the user we use for handling anonymous FTP. The home directory of this user is the root of the anonymous FTP area.

Default: ftp
You won't need it if you don't allow anonymous ftp
