FTP server configuration in RHEL 6.5

I am facing issue with FTP server . I installed VSFTPD and configured the vsftpd.conf as per the details provided in the Linux tutorial. I have set selinux to disable mode.

now while trying to login in to ftp server from FTP client first thing I am not able to login into the user in the FTP server. it is showing login incorrect.

when I am trying with anonymous it is logging in but I am not able to change the directory to the required one.

Please help me how to resolve this issue.

NOT GOOD!!!!
NEVER disable it except as a very last resort !!!

to debug a problem set it to " permissive"
then " selinuxtroubleshooter " or the SE logs will inform you of a issue , so you can fix it

with it off there is no log to TELL you of a error

and if you are using a "? Guide ?" that tells you to disable SELinux
DO NOT USE THAT GUIDE!!!!

re go over what ever instructions you are using
it looks like you did not set a administrative account or a user account for the server

and turn back on SE
