fstab real-only


I added something in fstab file and now it can not boot up. but it boot to Repair filesystem. I try to change it back in "Repaire filesystem" mode but it say "fstab is read-only file system". What can I do?

mount -o remount,rw /
and try again.

fstab should be set as follows:

-rw-r--r-- 1 root root    617 Feb  1 10:09 fstab

You can check this (and change it) in recovery mode:

chmod 644 /etc/fstab

You can boot off a live CD and undo the changes you made or boot in single user mode and undo the changes.
