Freeradius & counter.conf

Hi

I have recently installed freeradius and mysql to do AAA with some gateways (Mikrotik & Nomadix). Everything is cool and working fine but I need to somehow limit the users with certain amounts of time per day/per week etc.

The Nomadix can accept an Nomadix-Expiration attribute, but it needs to be a specific date. I came accross the counter.conf file which "says" it does all of this for you. I have added it into the /etc/raddb/sites-enabled/default file and the /etc/raddb file and given the attribute to the user but it does nothing, when I add a standard attribute like bw-up that gets sent to the gw.

I can't really find much info on this and was hoping some of you guys might be able to point me in the right direction.

Thanks
