Forwarding the Apache HTTPD log reporter to a specific port

Hi All,

I require to redirect the logging of apache logs to a specific port instead of a file ( example :: .....httpd/logs/access_log )

I am thinking of writing a script which would " tail " the access_log
directly to a port instead of a log file.

and also guide me to make the script daemon using xinetd

your idea seems viable, but i would personally look to other methods of doing this properly. a formal syslog solution should be more than possible... check this out, looks very handy:
