Hello,
I have inherited a database server from my predessesor which is causing all kinds of problems within our production environment. My firebird knowledge isn't great to be honest.
The main problem is that the database server needs to be kick-started every so often with the
Code:
/etc/init.d/firebird2.1-super restart
command before it will spring back into action. Applications that rely on the database cease to action until this is run. We need to kick it at least 4 or 5 times a day.
Debian Lenny server, firebird2.1-super, 2 databases (1x 17GB, 1x 230MB).
Any Ideas?
