ferora 11 login issue


i guys lisen i ahve installed a new fedora 11 with gnome desktop
during installation in asked me a creaste a user so i created a user
as "user" and after installation it is asking for login
i have two options here i have
1> user
2>other
so a click on other type login name as
root & after that it ask for password i enter the correct password then also it telling that authentication fails

but when i login as user it sucessfull logins in
and when o try su - root it ask for password i entered the correct password then it logins successfully

Now i know that i am entreing the root password currecty but is not allowing to login in gnome

Note:i am sure password is correct 100% but not alowing to login in gnome or kde as root

guys tell me solution i u know any

Root login is disabled by default ,also in GNOME
Yes you can enabled it for GNOME , but that is very bad thing to do
But if you insist to do so .
nano /etc/pamd.d /gdm mark as a remark IF so user = root quiet
