Fedora 11 Samba Home Sharing Headaches

Hi all, I recently upgraded from Fedora 10 to F11 (64bit) and I'm trying to set up my directory to be shared with my other computers again. However, whenever I try to connect to it, I get this error...

Code:
Cannot display location "smb://user@192.168.1.2/home/" Failed to mount share
So, looking in my Samba logs I see this...

Code:
  '/home/user' does not exist or permission denied when connecting to [home] Error was Permission denied
Naturally, I tried setting my home directory's permissions to 777 to see if the problem really did lay with permissions.... same error.

Next, I opened up my smb.conf file and changed the location of the home share to /tmp instead of /home/user just to see what would happen and lo and behold, it worked. So, I have a problem with Samba not wanting me to share my home directory; everything else (meaning everything with smbpasswd) is working. Anyone know why? I really don't understand this because I am using the exact same config file (except for the necessary name changes) on my other computers and they all work beautifully. (They are all running Fedora 10 however.) Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Below is my smb.conf file. (testparm passes it)

Code:
# testparm
[global]
	workgroup = my_network
	server string = system-01
;	hosts allow = 192.168.1. 192.168.2. 127.
	log file = /var/log/samba/%m.log.
	max log size = 50
	socket options = TCP_NODELAY SO_RCVBUF=8192 SO_SNDBUF=8192
;	wins support = no
	encrypt passwords = yes
	smb passwd file = /etc/samba/smbpasswd
	dns proxy = no

#============================ Share Definitions =====================
	idmap uid = 16777216-33554431
	idmap gid = 16777216-33554431
;	template shell = /bin/false
	username map = /etc/samba/smbusers
;	winbind use default domain = no

[home]
	comment = Home
	path = /home/user
	valid users = user
	browsable = yes
	writable = yes
	printable = no

I am just about to undertake the same task, and am wondering if the problem is related to my previous problem in httpd. It seems that FC11 turns on SELinux in Enforcing mode by default and that prevents kernel/startup processes from accessing users home directories unless certain SELinux permissions are setup correctly. I have not looked into it for smb yet, but here is a link to the SELinux manual that might have some info on samba setup.

I got sick of SELinux getting in the way of everything so I've disabled it. I currently have a thread going on the Fedora Forums but I have yet to find a solution. (http://forums.fedoraforum.org/showth...45#post1244245)
