Question ext4 partition after xfs_repair


a few problems. what should i do?

i'm using debian

I don't imagine xfs_repair would touch a valid ext4 filesystem. I've sat in on a couple of talks by xfs devs and they seem switched on enough not to do that.

Soooo . ... you seem to have been in a position where you thought the filesystem was in need of repair. If ext4 was sufficiently borked as to look like xfs, all bets are off. Restore your backup.
