Exim4 configuration for local subnet mail delivery.
I have a Debian linux box on my home subnet that I want to use for collecting the logs via SMTP from the firewall/router. Right now exim4 was installed and configured just to listen to localhost and deliver to local accounts on my box (just for system alerts).
How do I now configure exim4 to listen to my NIC ip address and accept SMTP connections from only a single ip address on my subnet (or at most my whole subnet)? Also, I want only local delivery possible. How to I configure this, is it done in exim4 or with some sort of ip/port binding???
Is this scheme the best way to handle SMTP based logs (or is there a better way to collect logs from hardware devices on the local subnet via SMTP?
Thanks,
Bryan
