EXIM mail server problem


I am working with i have to port the EXIM server.i could

start the exim server.then i was able to send the mail to root@localhost

from root@localhost.i saw delivered report in /var/spool/exim/input

directory.but i could not send mail from root@localhost to othe mail

servers such as sending mail i got failure notice in

/var/spool/exim/input.below this

server accept sender and receiver address.but mail is not delivered.

can any one help me
