Hello,

We are trying to setup a private cloud environment using Eucalyptus .

We used 2 UEC systems with eucalyptus-cc , eucalyptus-cloud running on one system and eucalyptus-nc running on another system .

After the setup i got the following error
===============================

$ ec2-describe-availability-zones verbose
Server: Binding 'ec2_amazonaws_com_doc_2009_03_01' not found for class edu.ucsb.eucalyptus.msgs.RunInstancesType

==================================

could anybody please help to solve this .

Thanks

Eucalyptus ip allocation

Hello,

We are in the process of setting up a Eucalyptus based cloud and wanted to have more ideas on IP allocation to instances.

1) How does an IP allocated to an instance . Is this similar to that of IP allocation in AWS EC2 ?

2) Is this done using the CLI of Eucalyptus only or is there any GUI similar to that AWS Management Console or Elastic Fox .

3) Is it possible to allocate more than 1 ip to an instance ?

Thanks

Sparkshankar,

I have merged your two threads, as they cover the same topic and it's likely that your cimbined issue(s) can be better dealt with in one thread.

Kind regards,

Sasha
