Etho automatically getting flushing out in ubuntu 10.04 Lucid after reboot


Hi all,

I have ubuntu desktop version 10.04 lucid .When i try to restart the server the etho getting flushing out .Once again i have to select the ethernet to make the ipaddress active.Any help how can i make the etho to pick up defaultly when the system getting reboot ...

check the ONBOOT parameter in your eth0 config file.

Make sure onboot=yes
and restart your network services

Wheree is can enable onboot =yes in my ubuntu 10.04 Lucid .i could not find where i can enable onboot parameter to make my ipaddress to pick at boot level
